Who can start a gift drive? 

Gift drives can be organized for your neighborhood, church, school or business. We can help anyone from teens to business owners run a Share The Magic gift drive in their community.   

What a community gift drive entails. 

Our community gift drives are typically organized by individuals or groups such as neighborhood associations, small businesses, churches, or schools seeking to make a positive impact in their local area. Although many of these drives focus on supporting children and teens during the holiday season, they can be held at any time of year, as numerous local charities need donations year-round.

In each neighborhood, volunteers are mobilized to distribute flyers about the gift drive. The collection period usually lasts for two weeks, after which the gifts are delivered to a local charity. You can arrange for gifts to be dropped off at your home within the neighborhood or at participating local businesses that act as drop-off centers. Churches and schools can also organize gift drives.
